Please participate in our fundraising efforts by patronizing our sponsors. Help our Nativity Stars Reach the Stars! Make a Difference Today...Contribute.

Any program of fundraising at the school must have the approval of the pastor and the principal/administration. Fundraising activities should be organized and executed so that the school program is not interrupted. Students may participate in and cooperate with worthy collections and fundraising projects conducted by the school or parish.

Nativity Smart Money

The Smart Money Program provides immediate cash funds for Nativity. Giant and Shoppers offer gift cards to Nativity School at a discount. For example, if you purchase a $50 card, then you can purchase $50 dollars worth of groceries at a participating market. 2005-2006 PTO FUNDRAISING RESULTS

Thank you to our school and parish families for supporting Catholic education at Nativity. It was a special year with the school’s tenth anniversary. A year of reaching new heights in our fundraising efforts and as a result, the students and teachers enjoyed a variety of curriculum and classroom enhancements. One notable fundraising accomplishment, thanks to individual donations and PTO funds, was the ability to purchase every item on the Teacher’s Wish List. Again, thank you to the community and volunteers who make this school the brightest star on the horizon!

Here are the results and an explanation of how the money raised will be used:

  • Auction

    $54,000
    Purchased classroom books, manipulatives, Art easels/lightboxes/ActivBoard, PE equipment, Clinic software, library bookshelves, math/social studies/language arts/religion curriculum resources, (9) visual presenters, drums and other instruments for Music, and Writing Assessment software.

  • Entertainment Books

    $1,440
    Funds used to pay for the PTO programs.

  • Sally Foster

    $9,633
    Funds used to pay for PTO programs.

  • Science Challenge Grant

    $52,395
    Funds provided for the science room renovation, science books for the library, equipment for the science room and each classroom, and technology to interface with the enhanced science curriculum. Complete list of purchases is attached.

  • Used Uniform Sale

    $985
    Funds used to pay for PTO programs.

  • Ink Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling

    $1,800
    Funds used for teacher in-service meetings (training).

  • Campbell’s Soup Labels for Education Points
