Testing

The school's testing program is intended to assist teachers and administrators in a systematic evaluation of the academic and religion programs, to diagnose students' strengths and weaknesses, and to aid in revision of the curriculum and planning of instruction.

In addition to academic tests for grading purposes, the school will administer standardized religion and achievement tests according to the diocesan testing program. 

• Religion - NCEA ACRE assessment administered to students in grades 5 and 8.  Given in January.
• Academic - Terra Nova  standardized test adminsteredto students in grades 2 through 7.  Given in spring. Test Results
• High School Placement Test - STS High School Placement Test administered to students in grade 8.  Given in December.
