Inclement Weather Policy

Nativity School classes follow Fairfax County Public Schools’ (FCPS) closing schedule in the event of inclement weather.

When FCPS has a schedule change (closing or delay) due to inclement weather or other emergencies, the information is communicated as soon as the decision is made in the following ways:

• Posted on TV Channel 21
• Radio station WTOP 103.5 FM or check the WTOPNEWS.COM website
• Recorded on the FCPS hot line, 800-839-FCPS (3277), in English, Korean, and Spanish.

Extended Care will follow the Fairfax County guidelines. If the Fairfax schools are closed, then there is no Extended Care. If there is a two hour delay, the AM Extended Care will be delayed two hours (opening at 8:45 AM) In the event that Nativity closes early due to weather, there WILL NOT be Extended Care.
