Altar Guild

Members of this group take care of the sacristy, sanctuary, and the altar linens. Meetings are held several times a year on Saturday mornings. Membership is open to all adults. Contact Teri Baker at 703-455-2400 X129.

Altar Servers

Eucharistic Ministries

Lay Eucharistic ministers help distribute communion at the parish liturgies during the week and on weekends. They also take communion to homebound parishioners and Catholics in residence at Burke Lake Gardens, Burke Health Care Center, and Heatherwood Retirement Home. Eucharistic ministers are appointed for three-year terms after attending a diocesan workshop held in the spring. Contact Teri Baker at 703-455-2400 X129.

Lectors - English & Spanish

Lectors proclaim the scripture readings at weekday and weekend liturgies. This ministry is open to all parishioners from junior high age up to retirement age. Basic training sessions and periodic meetings for both new and existing lectors are held throughout the year. For English lectors contact Teri Baker at 703-455-2400 X129. Ushers

Ushers welcome all who come to Mass, attend to their needs, assist with seating, and help with the collection. Each weekend liturgy has a "captain" who coordinates the various duties. This ministry is open to men and women from high school age and older. Contact Teri Baker at 703-455-2400 X129.
