Young Adult Ministry

Welcome Young Adults!

– Ages 21-39 –

Northern VA is blessed to have so many faithful young adults!

“Catholic Life Young Adult Ministry” is a Fairfax-wide group that serves both single and married people ages 21-39 years old, organized by Church of the Nativity. Nativity wants to provide a community where you can feel at home and grow closer to God with your peers. Parishioners from any church in the diocese are welcome!

Happening EVERY week

7:30 – 9:00 pm | Youth Ministry Room

We’ve chosen a new topic for our weekly small group – a discussion of “Mere Christianity” by C.S. Lewis. From the back of the book: “The book brings together C. S. Lewis’s legendary broadcast talks of the war years, talks in which he set out simply to ‘explain and defend the belief that has been common to nearly all Christians at all times.” Sections will be read aloud for discussion each week, so drop-ins and brand new people are always welcome! You can buy the book or just show up.

To create a place where Nativity’s young families can meet one another, build community, and grow in faith together. Join us at Nativity one Saturday a month, from 9:00am-10:30am, with your spouse and children under 4 years old. We will provide coffee – because we know you love it –  social time with other parents, group prayer, and discussion of faith and parenting (Examples: sleep problems, behavior in Church, how to pray with your family, etc.). Do you love the elderly?
Then join us as we spend time visiting the elderly residents of the new Sunrise Senior Living home in Burke! The residents host a social hour every Saturday at 3:00. This is a great opportunity to be with people who may not receive visitors often. We really do brighten their day when we come!

Due to limited space, volunteers are first-come-first-served.
